Just dropped off Coby and settled him in for his morning snack at Headsup.

Super bowl Sunday

Coyote Point

Saturday was a sunny day and Coby was finally recovered from his cold so we decided to take him to CuriOdyssey and Coyote Point Park. CuriOdyssey is a small science center and zoo. We mainly took him to the animal exhibits where he saw a coyote, bobcat, birds, and sleeping river otters. They also had an animal show that he watched pretty patiently.
The highlight for him was after the zoo visit when we took a walk in the park. It is pretty close to the SF airport so you can watch the giant planes landing over the bay and taking off. Coby kept pointing to every plane as it was landing. There are also lots of boats, ducks, water to see so has a great view.

Finger foods

Coby has been eating finger foods for awhile but also loved all his purees. Recently he started to protest against the spoon and only wants finger foods. He has been having peas, tofu cubes that we tell him is cheese, cheese, broccoli, English muffin, and tortilla. He loves to eat independently and gives us huge smiles while doing it. Quite a big mess though!

Touchdown

Coby has been sick this weekend with a cold - cough, fever, runny nose. Probably picked it up on the plane over the holidays. He hasn't smiled much this weekend - mostly slept and just wanted to be held. But this evening, he seems to have gained some energy after eating a mum mum and keeps signaling touchdown with a big smile waiting for us to say 'touchdown' and then laughs. Hoping this is a sign he is getting better!

Music class

For a little break today, we went to a 30 min music class. Coby loved it. They shook eggs with beads in them that sound like maracas. They played parachute. And played many instruments. I think he was happy to see people his size again after being stuck with mom and dad for the past week.
